Vodafone Institut für Gesellschaft und Kommunikation

Mobile technologies
for tomorrow.

What effects do mobile technologies have on societies? How do we organize our lives in 2020? And how does the future of work look like?

Communications technology provides innovative solutions for the major changes and challenges that our society is on the brink of experiencing. We are a THINK & DO TANK providing direction-giving input to decision makers and business managers as communications technology evolves.

The Vodafone Institute for Society and Communication SUPPORTS AND DEVELOPS enterprising solutions which will help our society to cope with future challenges. We also provide a PLATFORM FOR IDEAS about how communications technology can enhance quality of life and boost economic productivity.

The Institute was founded in fall 2011 by Vodafone Germany and is commencing its work in January 2012.

Off to a good start

The institute has now commenced its work. Final structures, communication channels and the first specific projects are currently in the development phase - which is why this is a temporary BETA version of the website. The “final” version will be launched in the next few months. Follow us on Twitter for news and updates on the potential of communications technology to change society.
